Clark County Technical and Economic Assistance Program (TEAP)

Description

The Technical and Economic Assistance Program (TEAP) will provide eligible small business owners and non-profits negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic with funding and one-on-one technical assistance. Program Grantees will receive a grant investment award and will be assigned to work with a Technical Advisor for 13-months. During the duration of the program, Grantees will develop and implement a strategic work plan to help strengthen and improve their operations.

Applicants that have previously applied for TEAP and were declined are ineligible to re-apply, UNLESS one of the following applies to you:

  • Your business has a physical location AND your application was only declined because you obtained your Clark County business license after November 1, 2022 
  • Your nonprofit application was declined because the start date on your Clark County Charitable Organization Certificate was after November 1, 2022

**Only one application per person is allowed, even if you own multiple businesses.**

The TEAP is open to businesses and non-profits located in unincorporated Clark County. There are three eligibility categories:

  • Existing Business – defined as an active business with A.) more than one year (1) of continuous operating history, B.) a minimum of $25,000 and less than $3 million in annual revenue, (C.) less than 50 full-time employees, and (D.) a current Clark County business license.
  • Non-Profit - defined as a continuously operating organization as described in section 501(c)(3) or 501(c)(19) of the Internal Revenue Code with A.) more than one year (1) of continuous operating history, B.) a minimum of $1,000 and less than $3 million in annual revenue, (C.) a current Clark County Charitable Organization Certificate and (D.) less than 50 full-time employees
  • Microbusiness – defined as a business with A.) less than one (1) year of operating history, (B.) less than 50 full-time employees, (C.) a current Clark County business license
